We sent out a press release last weekend with some help from Kath Burton at Beyond10 Marketing, with info about our upcoming OBSTAFIT VIP Launch Event. As a result we made it to Wales Online!

The article isn’t quite right as the title is ‘You can now get a personal trainer especially for Obstacle Courses’, OBSTAFIT VIP is all about group training (whilst ensuring individuals get the most out of their training) rather than personal training. We’re not moaning though, quite the opposite, this is great coverage for us!

So that brings me onto OBSTAFIT VIP itself and the Launch Event.

What is OBSTAFIT VIP?

OBSTAFIT VIP is a brand new monthly Obstacle Course Race (OCR) preperation package that we are launching at the end of next month (Feb). In short it should give both OCR beginners and addicts everything that is needed to enter and do well at OCR’s.

The package will include access to all of our weekly and weekly sessions (mon-thurs OCR training sessions, friday running club, saturday training session). Also each member will get to attend at least four OCR Master Classes a year (read about our previous OCR Masters Rope Climb Class). A 1-1 consultation will be provided at the beginning so goals can be set, these will then be followed up with regular group progress checks throughout the year.

A private facebook group will be provided where instructors and other professionals will be available to all VIP’s to answer questions and offer advice. We will be encouraging all members to make use of their training and get to as many races as possible by providing free race transport to 4 named races a year. There will also be race and product discounts available to all members. All this available for just £65 a month with no contract and the option to cancel at any time!

The launch event, 25th Feb

To celebrate OBSTAFIT VIP we have a launch event setup on 25th Feb. We will be running 3 VIP taster sessions at the event between 9am and 12pm, not to mention a Space Hopper fitness challenge provided by Gauntlet Games with prizes on offer. Launch day only VIP Packages will be available plus the opportunity to win some OBSTAFIT merchandise by trying out our Hang Challenge!
